  6. played in one. His first love was ski jumping, 
  7. and he had earned a scholarship with the
  8. ski team at Montana State University. But
  9. Jan [Yahn] quickly learned football. With a
  10. kicking style he learned from playing soccer
  11. in Norway, he went on to become one of the 
  12. best NFL placekickers ever.

  14. Jan played 19 seasons for the Kansas City 
  15. Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, and Minnesota 
  16. Vikings. He kicked 373 field goals, setting an 
  17. NFL record. Only George Blanda scored 
  18. more points.
